I am in love with our family pictures! Abbey Kyhl did them for us a few weeks ago and I love how they turned out! It's a good thing everyone told me how to do the collages because I could have never narrowed it down. Abbey does really cute stuff, check her website out www.abbeykyhl.com and if you absotutely love mine and decide to get you some of your own tell her you know me, then I get $$ off on prints and all that good stuff. I'm so excited we got some cute ones because it was a little windy, Tracen was being a bit of a pill, first he wouldn't smile then he was very relaxed and floppy and wouldn't sit up and then he kept crawling off. I found out looking at the cd that Jesse was playing with his loose tooth a lot too. Anyway, look at my cute family :)

You didn't know we were that cute did you? Neither did I!

A burger and fries
Would you like some Fry sauce with that?
Yesterday afternoon it was just me and Tracen. So we went to the local burger joint and got a burger and fries to share. Tracen got his own little rootbeer though because I don't like floaties in my Dr pepper. He was diggin the fry sauce. He dipped his whole hand in it. then he'd lick it off the fry and dip again. He must be his dad's kid because Josh drinks the rest of the fry sauce if there happens to be any left when the fries are gone. I like a little sauce to dip my fries in, but drinking it afterward is a little over the top. Tracen's so cute though.Licking the fry sauce...mmmmm. Can you see it all over his shirt and pants?
See fry sauce on leg above. Happy boy below :)
We ate outside obviously and when it was all done I hosed him down before stripping him down. He wasn't too happy about that part. I still got fry sauce all over my jeans though.

The rest of the random stuff I've missed
First of all, can anyone tell me how you all do those cute picture collages on here? I'm blog retarded. I've posted way too many pictures today!
Here is my catch up posts....ignore them all if you don't have time!
He's got a few signs down pretty good, one is more (that's the one he's doing in the picture) he also knows please and sometimes milk.
He really enjoyed sharing this sucker with me :)Missing teeth
Jesse's missing a few teeth, have you seen them? He's been a bit of a late bloomer in the teeth losing department but he finally has lost his first two teeth last week. He has one more and it makes him look like Nanny McFee because he won't let Josh pull it out. It drives me crazy!

We had lots of fun on the fourth of July this year. We started out the day with the parade in Parowan. We LOVE the parade in Parowan. It's shorter and they throw tons more candy. It's definitely the way to do. I took my camera like a good mom, but the battery was dead. So the only picture I have is this one:
We ended up with like 6 frisbees even after we shared with Addi and the Adams's
Then we went to Brad's for lunch like we always do. Here's another reason why the Parowan parade is awesome. It started 30 minutes after the Cedar parade and we got to Brads just barely after Josh's family. See it really is shorter. Tracen is now an expert at sipping from a straw. That's Josh's coke he's sneaking while he doesn't pay attention.
After that we spent the afternoon at Grandpa and Grandmas. We played and built things with popsicle sticks and Trevor sprayed everyone with the hose. We ended with dinner.
After that we decided to try out the Brian Head fireworks for something new and exciting. That was insanity. Imagine thousands of people from mostly California and Nevada all in Brian Head. Probably 50% of them are intoxicated and they all stopped at the Smoke shop on the way here. By the way I think there's like 4 cops in BrianHead (sorry Dan lol!) Josh called Dan and told him it was out of control. Ha ha. Bottlerockets were hitting buildings and one set of drunken people were shooting roman candles at another set of people. Josh and I laid our duck and cover plans and then sat back and enjoyed the show. We lived and it was fun.

Fun with our cousins
Lately we've been hanging out a lot with some new cousins...okay they're not new but even though we only live 45 minutes away we never seemed to get together. So we changed that! We started getting together with Pam, Jaime, Beckie and Courtney and all the kids. It has been so much fun and my boys love it. The first week we went to Jumpin Jacks in St. George. The next week I had to meet Pam and Courtney anyway to get my oils so we went to a park by Jaime's house with a cool splash pad. As you can tell the boys had fun. The next week or two we didn't get together and my boys were so bummed. They kept asking me when they were going to play with their cousins again. So last week they came to Cedar (yay!) and we all went to Park Discovery and played. It was pretty warm but we had lots of fun. Thanks guys! We love playing with you.

Summer games opening ceremonies
We went to the opening ceremonies of the Summer games with the Guymons. It was lots of fun. The kids played with their glow sticks and danced and had fun. The fireworks were awesome. Josh even stopped by to say hi for a minute. Thanks Megan for letting us tag along with you! Jesse really wanted to wear the little glow sticks as earrings. He didn't get a very favorable response from his Grandpa Neilson though :)

Family reunion
We had fun in Marysvale at the Whitney family reunion. Josh has been debating back and forth about buying a trailer all summer long. Thursday at 2:00 the day before the reunion Josh finds the trailer. It was a miracle but we bought the trailer and had it registered all by 5:20. We had tons of fun at the reunion playing with everyone.
I guess the highlight of the trip would be the snake. Tyler came running up to me and told me that he saw a rattlesnake. He said he jumped right over it and heard it rattle. In typical fashion I was like Ah whatever, you probably saw a snake and thought it was a rattlesnake. There's no way you jumped over a rattlesnake. No it was a rattlesnake. Luckily it was eating a squirrel and so it didn't bite my son. My dad cut it's head off with a shovel. I hate snakes!

Quote Of The Day
You don't have to have interesting conversations with only your children, you can have them with your husband as well...
Josh: On Monday we've got to get your car registered so you don't get pulled over by a stinkin' cop.
Me: A stinkin cop?
Josh: Ya, you know how they are.
I've been a blogging slacker lately. I have tons of pics to post I've just got to sit down and spend the time getting them off various cameras.
