I need a vacation

I definitely could use a vacation! This past week has been, well, busy will do for now. I started last Thursday by working Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday night in the ER. As part of my job I have to take the Trauma nurse certification course and come to find out that they have it about 2 times a year in St George and guess what it's this week and it's full but we'll squeeze you in so that I don't have to go take it in Provo. For which I'm very grateful, it was just a bad week :). However the class is Tuesday and Wednesday and I'm supposed to work Tuesday night. Kim was nice enough to take half my shift so I went to class Tuesday, worked until 12:15 a.m. and then went back to class on Wednesday. So I haven't seen much of my family in the past week to say the least. The class though was really good and I really enjoyed learning the stuff.

To complicate it all Josh was supposed to take Tuesday off and watch the boys so I could do this class but he found out Monday evening that he would be getting up at 4 a.m. Tuesday morning to hike the hills with SWAT looking for a marijuana grow. HUGE thanks to my mom because she saved our lives and spent the day with Tracen, woke up early and took Ty and Jesse to school. Ann watched the boys on Wednesday while Josh went to his "normal" job so thank you to her too!

So now we're going to have a nice relaxing evening at home right...ha...this is us you're talking about. Josh just left again to spend the night out in the hills with his SWAT buddies once more. Do you think we can call that a slumber party? Most people who go on business trips sit in meetings, Josh camps out in the dirt with a rifle and camo. I asked him to pretty please not get shot or die...neither are acceptable. I have no idea what time he'll be home tomorrow so if I wake up on Saturday morning and still haven't heard from him I guess I'll panic. And since our Life insurance has lapsed that's now on my to do list for next week.

Tomorrow afternoon we're headed up the mountain to Panguitch Lake for a little Neilson Fam reunion. I'm going to enjoy the quiet (well maybe quiet) and the lack of phones and just sit and vegitate I think. It will be awesome.

Let me know if you find any great life insurance deals. Of the people who really need insurance Josh & Don definitely qualify. Or is it us that need it?

Umm yeah... I won't be trading lives with you. I got exhausted just reading it. Have fun at the reunion!

Wow - bummer. I can just picture Josh out in the boonies camped out in his camo looking for pot leaves! What a job!

You are one busy lady! I run from day to night everyday just being mom. I can't imagine working too. I can't imagine you sleep to much??
