This year we had 3 deer tags during the muzzle loader hunt. Tyler again was the only one to actually get a deer but we sure had a lot of fun riding around in the mountains and enjoying the trees. I love the muzzle load because it's right when all the trees are turning colors. I even went out with the boys a few times by myself when Josh had to go back to work. One morning Link and I went out alone too. I'm not sure what I would have done if I'd actually shot something. I do know how to take care of the deer and I did have some rope but not a great plan for getting it into the truck by myself. I did see a big deer that morning too but Link helped scare it off for me when he got a little upset that I hiked 5 feet out of his view. It is possible that we weren't entirely sure where we were for an hour or two as well but we all made it out just fine! ha ha.
