The pictures aren't the best because they're from my phone. I took some with my camera but my card reader is at home and I'm at the hospital. SO...part of us getting to go home on Sunday included taking Lincolns temperature every 6 hours and getting a bilirubin checked on Monday morning and meeting the Dr at the office afterward. He said he thought that he would probably be fine but wanted it checked anyway. Good thing we did. When we left the hospital his bilirubin was 9.5 which is high intermediate risk. He thought it for sure wouldn't raise more than 5 points. When we got to the office on Monday he checked it and said something like "he's a rule breaker" He'd raised 9 points and was at 18.7 which put him well into high risk with a good possibility of going even higher. So he said he'd meet us at the hospital in 5 minutes to readmit him. So Monday at 12 Lincoln was readmitted to the hospital.
He was supposed to be on 2 bili lights but they had like 5 babies on bili lights already and only had enough lights for one each. So we started there. Even though they are so busy and full with patients they found a room for me and another mom to stay in. We had to share but I was just grateful I had a place to stay! I'd already decided if all else failed there was a couch in the ER I'd go sleep on :) Sometime last night they were able to get a light pad for him which means he's getting light on almost all sides at the same time. It also means I get to hold him a little longer when I feed him because we just bring the pad along with us. I spent most of the day in the nursery with him and then slept until they'd call me to feed him. He also had to have an IV and get fluids since he was a little dehydrated. It just helps push all the bilirubin out. His IV is saline locked now. This morning, my roommates daughter got to go home so we inherited another light and I have the room all to myself now as well. They discharged another baby and needed the back nursery for a sick baby so we also were able to move into the isolation room which means more privacy for us and a recliner. His numbers were really slow to come down last night they were 17.9 and this morning 17.3 so I was kinda bummed but I talked to the dr and said I'd rather stay here with the good lights for another day than go home with not as good of lights for 4-5 days, he agreed so we stayed.
This afternoon he was finally down to 15.7 which puts him back into high intermediate. He's still on lights and we do another test at 8:00 tonight and we'll see what we do from there. He's eating a lot better now though and isn't as orange as he was yesterday when we started. He's been awesome and so mellow. He likes to sleep on his tummy and is way more content there. He can do that as long as he's on a sat monitor so I'm glad he hasn't fussed the whole time. He gets to wear a little purple mask to cover his eyes and only fussed the one time that he was wide awake. So we just took it off and held him a little longer until he fell asleep.
My mom brought Tracen in today and he got to see him through the window of the nursery. He wanted to hold him it was so cute and sad. He was so sad to leave me and the baby. We bribed him with a treat so he left with Grandma and then went home to see dad. The boys miss the baby (and hopefully me too!) and can't wait for him to come home again. Josh said they ran in from school looking to see if he was home yet.
HUGE thanks to Josh, my mom and Vaughn and Ann. Josh has pretty much just done whatever I told him (probably out of fear!) My mom has helped so much with the boys and watching Tracen when Josh has been here with me or doing his other required activities, she's brought in Tracen and came into visit us last night. Vaughn and Ann have brought me their car (since Josh and I came together to Cedar I didn't have one) even though I didn't plan on leaving it was really nice when I went and took a shower at their house today. And Ann brought me snacks and treats and books and came and visited. Everyone calls and makes sure I'm doing ok and don't need anything, so thanks!
Here are more pictures that aren't very good :)

Oh my goodness he looks so cute laying on his tummy like that - I want to cry for you though because I think that would be stressful. I know you're tough and are probably doing fine but I still want to cry for you I hope I wont be doing that next month. Love you lots.
Hope all is well now that you're home and you and your fam-damily are all back together again!
Can't wait to meet the little guy!
