chicken poo

When you're the mother of 4 boys and you have a husband, you're slightly outnumbered to say the least.  And when there are that many boys around the conversations can quickly circle the drain.  It is not uncommon to hear talk around our house that involves some kind of bodily function...especially now that we're trying to convince Tracen that potty training is a good idea.  Then you have to combine that with the fact that I work at night and sleep during the day 2 days a week and that Josh is in charge of the guidance of the children during those hours with no one to reign them in.  It can get bad.

I worked on Wednesday night, and just for the record I was so excited because I think I slept the best I've slept during the day since we moved to this house on Thursday.  So I get up and pretty soon I hear Tracen talking to dad about "chicken poo."  Josh is now trying to get Tracen to show me chicken poo.  This is getting worse....Anyway when it all comes out Josh and Tracen have developed a new treat while I was sleeping.  You had no idea Josh was a chef and could create new recipes did you?  This recipe is called "chicken poo"--I know, only men/boys would ever create a new recipe and name it chicken poo.  Would you like the recipe, it's no bake?  Well you're in luck it's not a family secret recipe....got a paper and pen ready?

Chicken Poo
Ingredients:
1 spoon
Peanut butter
shredded coconut
chocolate chips
use the spoon to scoop up some PB, sprinkle with coconut and top that with chocolate chips. Repeat.
Apparently this most closely resembles chicken poo and the name adds extra giggles while eating as well as other entertainment.
They were scraping the bottom of the PB bottle but if you're going to double dip I recommend not serving that same PB later on to friends and neighbors.

Do you see the resemblance?  Someone please help me, I'm surrounded by boys.
