Family Reunion

This past weekend was the Whitney family reunion in Marysvale.  We showed up on Friday afternoonish.  We had lots of fun!  There were lots of us there and it was fun to see everyone and visit.  The boys had a blast playing with all their long lost cousins for the weekend.  They were outside running and playing all day long until it was too dark and they had no choice but to come in and crash.

Tracen played with Millie all weekend long.  He was her little shadow.  This also meant that he played with most of the other little girls…Elise, Alyssa, Missy etc.  Tyler and Jesse ran around with all the boys….there were lots of them, shooting pvc pipe guns, playing war and mountain man games.

Uncle Dennis taught the boys all about being a mountain man and they had fun playing games and shooting/throwing weapons and all that good stuff.  there were also crafts for the little kids and lots of food to eat.

One of my favorite parts was listening to Jack, Gaye, Kristi and Jill play.  It’s always one of my favs :)  It was a good weekend!

I think Jill’s hair is so dang cute.  Isaac caught a bunch of crickets.  Josh tried to talk him into eating one or two but it was no go.

Even Link got good and dirty everyday and played in the dirt.  He refused to wear shoes.  He took them off every time I put them on.

It wouldn’t be a family reunion without shooting off paper rockets.  They did this for several hours on two different days!

Sunday we had testimony meeting.  The kids all sang “because God loves me” and Aunt Donna taught them sign language to go with it.  Sammy, Tyler (not my Tyler) and Gaye accompanied on guitars and violin.
