Jesse's Birthday Party

Jesse's 6th birthday isn't for another week, but we had his friend party today. I wanted to make sure he got a party before this baby shows up and the weatherman said it was supposed to be a nice day and it was! He had lots of friends over for a transformers/water party. He had lots of fun and got a lot of new fun toys.
We started out with pizza and rootbeer. What 6 year old doesn't love that!Lots of fun new presents!
Then we started with the water balloons...those didn't last long. We did invite two girls to his party but one had to go out of town. It wasn't quite fair when the boys yelled "boys against girls!" But she was a trooper! It wasn't quite warm enough when the clouds moved in to slip-n-slide but they tried anyway!
Then they spent the rest of the time just playing and having fun! They decided the trampoline was a great place to play duck, duck goose.
Jesse had lots of fun and was so excited to have his friends over. He was so cute. Before school he got out all his party stuff and laid it out on the table and organized it all. It about killed him to wait to put up the slip-n-slide and streamers until dad got the lawn mowed. He wasn't about to wait for me to wash off the sidewalk....he did that himself!

I just found your blog link, so I had to say hi. Your blog turned out so cute! You are such a good mom to host a water bday party....it looks like it was lots of fun. I LOVE your boys' room! The green wall looks so good, and I'm in major need of that awesome wall organizer. Hope you are feeling good (as good as you can with less than a month until giving birth!)
