Josh unlocked the secret to getting Tracen to sleep for awhile at night AND in his crib. It's a miracle you don't even know. It's quite the process though lol! Are you ready for this? According to Josh I've been starving the poor kid (the amount of weight he's gained would contradict this but whatever!) The secret is to fill him up so full that if he moves a muscle he will explode. So he has no other choice but to fall asleep (Crying would also cause an explosion so it's out of the question).
We start with me feeding him and we do that until there's nothing left. Now is the time we usually lay him down and he wakes up and cries. But I watched last night and Josh got a bottle and started feeding him. Unfortunately the reason we didn't figure this out until now is that he's a little lazy and he falls asleep. So you feed him until he falls asleep and then burp then lay him on the floor next to the chair you're sitting in. Then he wakes up and cries, repeat, repeat, repeat until he doesn't cry. He eats SO much it's insane. But he put him in his crib and he slept for 4 hours there. I fed him again at 2 doing pretty much the same thing, except he didn't need too much out of the bottle and he slept until 7. It's a freakin miracle. The only downside is that the process takes about an hour.
Although I wish I had a picture to share of Josh feeding him. The last little bit he would fall asleep immediately after being picked up so he was laying on the floor with Josh holding his head up and feeding him the last little bit of the bottle. I walked in to that and just asked "Now what is the point in that?"
I need to take some more pictures to post. He's grown so much in the past week and a half it's crazy! We just got some photos in the mail and his pictures I took at two weeks, he looks so small in them. He's already growing up too fast.
