Josh's friend Mark donated his kidney to his sister earlier this summer. His sister has lupus and has been on dialysis for quite awhile. When they were looking at him being a possible donor he said it was pretty much impossible to find information from people on what donating/recieving a kidney was like for them. There's lots of medical information out there, but no personal information. So they decided to do a blog about it so that other people giving/getting organs would be able to read a personal account of what it's like. So here's their blog www.organsoup.com

Hey, this family looks vaguely familiar! It's sad that we live in the same town but haven't seen each other in well over a month. I guess we both have excuses; the Neilson family with a new baby and Florence family without a kidney. Since I'm sure Joshy isn't in charge of the blog, let him know I'll drop by in a couple of weeks when we get back from Oregon.
