Tyler

Tyler has had quite a few highlights to his little life in the past 2 weeks. So here's a little bit on him :)

To Short:
Around the first of the year Ty decides he wants to grow his hair out. So we go with it. However, the longer it gets the more irritated Josh gets with it. Actually he just doesn't want to do it everyday. I mean he doesn't have to do his own hair why would he want to do someone elses. So finally a few weeks ago Ty decides he wants to cut it again. You'd think Josh would be ecstatic right? wrong...he told him, nope, you're going to finish growing it out. What? So it took Ty a week or so to talk Josh into letting him get his hair cut.

And now so we don't make Josh look like the only mean parent around here, there's the other story. A few weeks ago we were out at Grandma Neilson's house and the boys were jumping on the trampoline. Ty hurts his foot and is crying. I didn't doubt that it hurt but sometimes he over reacts a little. So I told him he was ok and to walk it off. It would be ok. Every few days he'd do something and it would hurt again. So finally about three weeks later I take him to the doctor because it's still swollen. Uh, ya, it's broken. Not bad, in fact, the ER doc didn't see it. You have to read the radiologists report to find the little shadow that denotes a crack in his ankle, but still, it's broken. So Dr. North suggested a walking boot (I was quick to mention he HAD been walking on it for 3 weeks) so that it can heal and not get hurt again. He's actually quite proud of himself and likes his walking boot.....most of the time.
