8 Months

Tracen is 8 months old today. I still cannot believe how time flies. Two days ago I was telling people he was 7 1/2 months old and then I realized that he's not! We are still just having tons of fun loving on him and watching him learn new things.

Here's some of the stuff he can do now:

• He says "Da Da" although I don't think he knows what he's talking about we love it all the same! He also says lots of other stuff we don't understand.


• He blows raspberries.


• He smiles A LOT! And giggles and laughs. He's very ticklish, especially his hands and feet.


• He crawls all over.


• He pulls himself up to the couch, in his crib, anything he can.


• He's an eater. He gets mad if we don't feed him on time and he goes after the spoon with his mouth. His new favorite food is cheerios. He doesn't quite have the pincer grasp thing down yet though so he can't quite feed himself yet.


• He wears cowboy hats and got his very first pair of boots....see below...this is very important to a certain brother of his (Jesse)


• He's started playing with his toys a lot and especially loves his piano he got for Christmas.
• He loves a good shower, or a good bath. He often falls asleep in the shower and the minute you lay him down in the tub he gets a huge smile on his face and kicks his feet and arms.

We just love him to pieces. Here are some pictures from the past two weeks:

Here's the first cowboy hat. Apparantly he wore them all day and crawled all over the house. ( I had nothing to do with it, I was at work)

Oh look, a new hat. Jesse has a plethora of hats to share and dress him up in.
And his cute new, too big, boots. I did pick these out.
Brushing his teeth....all two of them. Or chewing on the toothbrush, whichever you prefer.

Yay, toys! When I work all night and then get to take care of Tracen we convene in his room with a bottle and a basket of toys. I sleep on the floor and he plays, eats and sleeps.

Pulling himslef up to stuff. He also loves to play xbox with dad and the boys. He's good at slobbering on the controller.

And this last photo has nothing to do with Tracen or 8 months. But we started packing today. This is about as much help as I got out of Jesse. He made himself a "Jack in the box" He's Jack, and then played xbox while lounging in the box. Funny kid.
