Last night we had family home evening with the Neilson fam. We had a lot of fun. The weather was so nice outside and Ty needed to cook outside to pass off something for cub scouts so we barbequed hamburgers. Then the boys did a lesson that they made at a primary activity about Christ and the resurrection. We ended the night with a little egg dying. We had some pretty eggs! They were so bright. We had about 7 dozen eggs. I had gotten a dozen for each family, but unbeknownst to me Ty told everyone that we were dying eggs at fhe and they could bring eggs if they wanted too...gotta love kids. So we had a lot of eggs!
Jesse getting down to business.
Kole getting ready to use her egg dipper. She loved the pink eggs :)
I think Jerry had as much fun as anyone else.

OK I'm a dork but I had fun messing around with the camera and taking pictures.
The yellow eggs was covered with tons of little air bubbles, it looked cool.
Look how bright they turned out! I loved the all!
Drying eggs (I told you I got a little carried away with the camera)
Family home evening with extended family is something we started doing in my family when I was in high school. It was one of my favorite things and I really have missed it. So I was really excited when we started doing it with Josh's family. I'm grateful that we have been instructed to have family home evening and that we've decided to do it together once a month. At least we know we get it done at least that often!
