SUU is promoting breast cancer awareness at their next several athletic events. They asked Ann to come to a game and be recognized for it. They also have all sorts of drawings and t-shirts to buy etc that goes toward research. So last night we went to the SUU women’s basketball game with her. At half time they had her come out to be recognized. She had Vaughn and most of the grandkids went out there with her. They gave her a basketball signed by the team. She said it was her first basketball ever :) We are so proud of grandma and the hard battle she’s fought. We could tell that chemo and radiation weren’t easy, but I’m sure we have no idea how hard they really were. We’re so glad that all the treatments are finally over and that she can move on. And her short hair looks really cute growing back in too :)
Getting ready to walk out of the tunnel
Grandma, Grandpa and all the grandkids. We got popcorn during the game. Tracen thinks all popcorn belongs in his possession. Here’s he’s bargaining with Kurt for some sour patch candy
