Another round of birthday-ness at this house. This time it’s Tracen’s turn! Yesterday he had quite the birthday. He spent a little time at Grandma Neilsons. She gave him his present but then he insisted that she wrap his present in camo paper…so of course she did. Then she gave him a piece of cake and they blew out a candle. She’s such a fun Grandma.
After I picked him and Lincoln back up we went birthday dinner shopping. Tracen insisted on carrying his camo present all through the store. I let him pick the menu…pizza from papa murphys. Then at Lin’s he picked out watermelon, apples, chocolate marshmallows, cheetos, 2 kinds of ice cream, popsicles and goldfish.
When we got home he got a fun phone call from Grandma Whitney. I hear she sang happy birthday to him.
When we got home we made the cupcakes, Tracen helped. And he helped decorate them. It was quite the experience. The one he licked became his!

Then since Josh and Dan were off at training, eating delicious food and making us all jealous, Megan, Ethan and Addi came over for dinner. Tracen had to blow these out several times…
When they left Addi said “Happy Birthday Tracen!” Tracen said right back “happy birthday!” It was pretty funny.
Tracen is our little mischief maker, mess maker etc. He can make the biggest mess in the shortest amount of time. Yesterday my house was clean…Today he has spread cupcakes and cheetos all over my family room, chocolate sprinkles all over the kitchen and toys everywhere in between. I really want my house to stay clean for a minute or two so I’m trying really hard to keep up!
He’s hilarious. He says the funniest things. I try to write them down and post them here so I’ll never forget.
He’s usually pretty good with his brothers but he’s a pretty tough competitor too. He and Lincoln wrestle a lot, it’s cute.
He’s not potty trained yet, and I’ve given up. We’ll try again later!
He loves the wonder pets right now and will sing the song all day long.
This morning he was singing to Link and mixed up two songs into one. He sings him the “stinky linky” song he made up and we also sing “little Linky foo foo” like little bunny foo foo. So this morning he was singing “Little stinky Linky hopping through the forest” It was pretty funny.
Happy Birthday buddy! We sure love you!
