I just finished up a few projects and I wanted to post some pictures. I have a bunch of other things I’ve done over the last year too that I thought I’d add just so I could go back and look at them. most of these I found tutorials for on the internet so they are not my own ideas.
Crystal is having a little baby girl in April so I made her two blankets. The first one is similar to one that is Lincoln’s favorite. It’s so soft! P.S. Not saying how I know this…but if you buy the end of the bolt at Joann’s you get like 75% off, just sayin’.
This second one I’ve been dying to make. I made one last summer. It takes forever and I never bought the tool that makes it easy to cut so I did it all by hand…I had a bruise. I wanted to quit. But when I pulled it out of the dryer, it was totally worth it. If you want to know how to make one google faux chenille blanket.
Here is the other one I made. The pink one is flannel, the other is just regular fabric (?) The regular fabric one was tons easier to sew because it didn’t stretch however the pink one is way softer and it frayed better
A long(er) while back I made two of these. One for Tracen and one for his cousins. Tracen still loves his. I think the idea came from Girl with a glue gun.
I also had participated in a few “I-Spy” fabric swaps. I made two quilts with the fabric. One was for Ann the other for us…I still have to bind ours (oops). Here is Ann’s.
I also have a mostly finished quilt top and another one started. So maybe I can finish them up so I can have something to blog about. Now don’t go thinking I’ve been all crazy crafty. These projects have been over the last year….or so…
