Child of God

Tyler made a discovery about Tracen about a month and a half ago. He would be crying and Ty started singing to Tracen to make him feel better (its the sweetest thing). Of course, I am a child of God is the default in probably every church going child's repertoire so thats what he'd sing. Tracen would quit crying. One night we were driving home from deer hunting and Tracen was crying. I was about to go crazy, he wouldn't eat, suck, play, sleep....I'd changed his diaper. Finally, the thought occured to me so I leaned over and started siging really quietly to him I am a Child of God. I kid you not he quit crying almost instantly (and he'd been crying awhile). Josh looked over and said "are you singing?" When I said yes he started to laugh and just said, thats funny. So this morning I tried it out again...he was crying and I needed to finish my hair. Sure enough, he quit. I tied itsy bits spider first to no avail, only Child of God will do for this kid!

That's so precious. I would be afraid to sing with anyone else around, but whatever works huh!

Well I thought I would finally comment on your blog since I am always checking it out. Our husbands seem to have fun together in their little SWAT excursions.

Your BOYS are adorable!
