Disneyland and California Adventure

We spent Tuesday at Disneyland and Wednesday at California Adventure. We had lots of fun going on rides and eating junk food. We made Jesse go on all the rides he didn't want to go on and he had fun anyway. My mom stayed with Tracen on all the rides he couldn't go on and rode on the ones he could. They made quite the pair. We didn't quite get to everything.
I finally talked/bribed Jesse into going on splash mountain because I knew he'd love it. This is a picture of the picture....Jesse's the one with his arms out. He did decide that he liked it.
I think this was one of the favorite rides. We hit toon town very last on Tuesday and they pretty much had to kick us out....we were the very last ones there. The kids found a little roller coaster just their size that everyone could ride. There were only a few other kids there so they rode it over and over and over.

Before we left toon town we stopped at the store there. We bought the requisite lollipops. Being the only girl in the family I've become a bit more girly as the only girly type stuff comes my way, pink toothbrushes, purple this, pink that...it's all mine. So I bought me a pink minnie mouse lollippop. We got Tracen the micky mouse ears hat, he looks cute in it for all three seconds that he keeps it on
California adventure was lots of fun as well. We rode the roller coaster, the maliboomer, the kiddie rides, the water raft ride and flying ride. Tyler LOVED the "scary" rides and laughed the whole time. We drug Jesse and Wyatt on to the Twilight horror hotel or whatever it's called and scared the snot out of them. That was a dang fun ride though. The kids had lots of fun in the bug's life area.

Jesse got to meet Woody (his hero) and is now more than ever a cowboy. He got mad at Josh today because he made him wear shorts to school because it was field day. He wanted to wear wranglers and boots.
The kids also got their picture taken with Goofy:

Tracen was awesome the entire time. He was such a great baby. I seriously can't believe how well he did. I totally expected to have to take him back to the room each day for a nap and we never did. He enjoyed the rides and the shows and hung out with Grandma. The last hour of the last day though he started doing this. I think he'd had enough vacation.

We had a ton of fun. We only waited in line more than 1/2 hour on one ride that I can think of and that was the Nemo submarine ride which was totally not worth the wait. We loaded up about 5:30 on Tuesday and headed for home. We didn't get home until like 2 a.m. so the boys got one more day off school. I tried really hard to sleep in because I had to work Thursday night but I couldn't sleep past 10. Last night was soooo long.
