Jesse's 7!

Jesse's 7th Birthday was yesterday! I can't believe it's been 7 years. I love this photo of Jesse, it's one of my favorites, he was 2 and it shows his personality to a T.....he still is the same way :)

Yesterday Jesse was so excited. He wore his favorite new cowboy shirt to school and took donuts for a treat. After school we went over to "visit" at Grandma Neilsons. She had a bbq for Jesse's birthday and invited everyone over. Thanks Grandma, Jesse loved it. Today he's having a little party at discovery park and then we planned on having a joint Grandpa, Tracen and Jesse party after we get home from Disneyland (Where we're going for his birthday present) So I think Jesse's getting an extended birthday party.

Here's some of the things I love about Jesse:

• He is mischevious and a joker. He loves to play jokes, he's just like his dad.
• He can be so sweet and helpful. He's always helping me with Tracen and is usually happy to do what I ask him to.
• He's very friendly and makes friends easily. He has a whole bunch of friends in Cedar City and I swear the minute he walked into his new classroom at Parowan elementary he instantly had 5 friends. He already has a "best" friend here too.
• It's fun to watch him play baseball.
• He goes through phases of favorites....Buzz light year, spiderman, Woody (which is entirely separate from Buzz) Although maybe his last phase will stick forever....cowboy.
• He loves all things cowboy related. He and Grandma went and bought new cowboy shirts for his birthday, they were long sleeved. I told him it was going to be too hot to wear long sleeves, he informed me that he saw on tv that you should always wear long sleeves so you don't get bit by mosquitos. Ha ha
• He's witty and says the most hilarious things (see above or all the QOTD on this blog lol)
• He basically refuses to wear shorts (I seriously have to talk him into it) because if he's wearing shorts he's not wearing cowboy pants (wranglers)

So I went a little overboard on the photos....sorry. Pics before 2 years old are on cds in a box somewhere downstairs so they just start at 2. Count your lucky stars, I would have added lots more photos :)
