Hiking in Zion

Crystal wanted to go hiking in Zion for her birthday so that’s what we did.  We rode the bus in and hiked the River walk.  It was pretty warm but it was lots of fun.  Link rode on my back most of the time.  He kept thinking he wanted to get out but we told him that this was the way to go.  He did a little hiking at the end though.  Then afterward we got ice cream and ate at the pizza and noodle company.  It was lots of fun.

We went and got ice cream while waiting for the restaurant to open.  Lincoln loved his.  He was a little messy!  This guy sat opposite him on the bench outside and Link held out his ice cream and told the man “Ice Cream!” which was pretty amazing since he has gotten pretty shy.  The man looked and him and told him “You sure are a mess aren’t you” and then got up and walked away.  Good thing because I might have told him off!  He’s 2 and enjoying an ice cream cone for heaven’s sake!

After dinner we headed home because I had to go to work.  I was hoping to get a little better nap in but 30 minutes from Virgin to Black Ridge was about it.  Thanks for inviting us to your birthday outing Crystal!
